# Glossary

> The words used by Business Plan in plain language: cell, flag, forecast, scenario, truth guard, pack, blocker, readiness, funding need and placeholder.

**Blocker.** A finding that stops a plan being ready for a pack.

**Cell.** One number in the model, with a path.

**Flag.** Needs your value, illustrative or to verify.

**Forecast.** The monthly statements computed from the inputs.

**Funding need.** The amount to raise and the month it is needed.

**Pack.** A lender or subsidy route as data: required sections, statements and checks.

**Placeholder.** A reference like `{{pl.revenue.Y1}}` that prints a model figure.

**Readiness.** A score out of 100 with the next three steps.

**Scenario.** A list of changes to inputs.

**Truth guard.** The rule that figures in text must be model cells.
