# Getting started

## Before you begin

Business Plan is in early access. Sign in with Geenius OS if you have a paid plan, or [request access](/request-access/) and choose a plan once the team approves it. See [plans and limits](/docs/plans-and-limits/).

## 1. Describe your business

Write one sentence: what you sell and to whom. Answer the questions that follow. See [the intake](/docs/the-intake/).

## 2. Read the draft

Every section starts with a draft whose figures are tied to the forecast. The checklist of **open numbers** lists what only you can give. See [open numbers](/docs/open-numbers/).

## 3. Look at the forecast

Check the monthly statements, the break-even month, the lowest cash and the funding need. See [the forecast](/docs/the-forecast/).

## 4. Check the plan

Choose a lender or subsidy pack and read the findings. See [lender and subsidy packs](/docs/lender-packs/).

## 5. Export

Export a PDF. If a figure does not match the forecast, the export stops and says which. See [export](/docs/export/).
